Let's Paint Outside w/ Brianne Farley (1st session)

Youth, families. All supplies provided. No sign-up required.

Families are invited to join local children's book illustrator Brianne Farley on the Front Lawn for a unique outdoor painting experience that everyone can do, Plein Air. Because we all have different artisitc abilities, we'll start with two instructional sessions from Brianne, one at 10 a.m. and one at 10:30.  After each lesson, your family can walk around the library with the provided art palettes to find scenes you would like to paint. 

"Plein Air" literally means painting objects you see around you while outside. We're going to do this on the grounds of the library, so feel free to wander into the garden behind the library, as long as an adult caregiver is with any children there. You'll probably get a little messy, so remember to wear something you don't mind getting some paint on it.
