Artist Kristy Phillips will be teaching various techniques to add texture to watercolor paintings. All skill levels will enjoy this hands on program. We will be providing everything needed for this workshop.

Spend time in nature painting! Pick up supplies from the tent on the front lawn and find that perfect scene to paint, Plein Air style. 

En plein air! Or painting outdoors! Join KBL in Brownson Park, Thursday, July 10th at 11:00am to create works of art inspired by the beauty of nature! Artists will be provided with paint, canvas, and clipboards to create with.

Join local songwriters and recording artists Trillium Groove for this fun and engaging workshop for teens and adults on the basics of songwriting and recording!

Join us in learning about the basics of getting resin printed miniatures game ready! You will create your own miniature that will be printed and primed before the event for you to paint and take home.

Color your world with comic book art in this kids library presentation by author and Marvel comic illustrator Jerry DeCaire. Comic art has long been used to bring fantasy to life.

Join KBL in partnership with the Great Lakes Children’s Museum for a Mobile Museum, a hands-on learning festival! Back for a second year, GLCM brings the silly and the scientific together at Brownson Park on Thursday, July 17th at 11:00am.
