LWVGTA Education Program - Composting: From Table Scraps to Black Gold
Composting is nature’s way of recycling and is one of the most powerful actions we can take to reduce trash
in landfills and to build healthy soil. Come learn about the benefits of composting and opportunities to
compost in our area.
All teen writers are welcome. Writer Jacqueline Burke will share her enthusiasm and skills. Guest authors may also come to share. Bring your writing so you can apply what you learn during free writing times.
Check out what the Twisted Quills have been up to! Teens who participated in the last year of the writing program will be sharing their work. There will readings, zines and an unveiling of the website. And snacks. We always have snacks!
TADL Stitchers is open to anyone with an interest in needlework in its many forms--knitting, crochet, cross stitch, needlepoint, quilting, embroidery, tatting, etc. If you are having trouble with a project, others may be able to help.
Queer Tales Book Club - Fried Green Tomatoes
Join us for Queer Tales Book Club where we chat about books that are by and/or about LGBTQIA+ people. Reading is not required, and everyone is welcome.
We hang out on the third Tuesday of the month at 7pm in the Nelson Room.
