Adventure Begins at Your Library!

Join us for Wigglers Storytime! Ms. Beth engages our early and pre-readers (ages 0-4+ usually, but we make exceptions) with movement, music, crafts, and stories, to develop literacy, social skills, and confidence!

Our friends at Feeding America West Michigan are providing free sack lunches for any child or teen in need this summer - starting with Summer Reading Club! We will be handing out lunches in the lobby each weekday from 11 am to 12:30 pm.

Drop in to the Summer Reading Clubhouse in the yard at the East Bay Branch Library for games, snacks, prizes, free books and more!

A fun, in-person, hour long exercise class based on the PWR! moves for people with or suspected Parkinson's Disease and their caregivers. The class will be run by a PWR! certified physical therapist.

Children are encouraged to read aloud to TADL's kind and gentle therapy dogs. Readers can count their minutes toward this year's Summer Reading Club, too.

All teen writers are welcome. Come hang out with other writers! Summer is casual. Bring what you are working on and socialize. Want to see what we accomplished last school year?

TADL Stitchers is open to anyone with an interest in needlework in its many forms--knitting, crochet, cross stitch, needlepoint, quilting, embroidery, tatting, etc.  If you are having trouble with a project, others may be able to help. 

Experience stories through music, movement and books with Mr. Matt, on the lawn outside the library.

(If it's raining, we will be in the North Conference Room of the Township offices, across the parking lot.)

Are you comfortable with a basic cast-on and the knit stitch and would like to learn more?

Join local songwriters and recording artists Trillium Groove for this fun and engaging workshop for teens and adults on the basics of songwriting and recording!

Meet your favorite librarians outside at Brownson Memorial Park for a program in partnership with the Kingsley Farmers Market, Naturally Fun! This drop-in activity will include crafts and more. Parents are encouraged to stay and assist.

Children aged 6 - 12 can enjoy a little bit of summer camp with us on the front lawn of TADL's Main Library. Mr.

Whether you need volunteer hours for school or are just looking to be more active in your community, the library would be pleased to benefit from your time.

Join the fun at the Summer Clubhouse! Play games, grab a craft kit to go, enjoy snacks and more!  There's fun for everyone at the library Summer Clubhouse! Entertainment at 11:00am.

Join Miss Beth at Brown Bridge Quiet Area on Thursday, July 11th at 10:30 a.m. for an Adventure Hike for Summer Reading Club! FREE bagged lunches will be available to hikers, provided By Feeding America Northern Michigan's Gather2Grow program.
